Terms and Conditions for Gift Certificates
Purchasing Gift Certificates
-Gift Certificates must be purchased separate from orders with food.
Veggie Brothers reserves the right to cancel any order that does not follow this rule. A $7 administrative fee will be charged to your card to cancel the transaction.
-You may not use a discount code or another Gift Certificate when purchasing a Gift Certificate
-Only special holiday discount codes and rebates may be used when purchasing Gift Certificates
-No Shipping or Handling Charges will appear to your purchase if you purchase Gift Certificates soley and separately from orders containing food.
-No Minimum Order Rules will apply to your purchase if you purchase Gift Certificates solely and separately from orders containing food.
-You may choose to buy as few or as many different Gift Certificates as you like
-When purchasing gift certificates, you must choose to have the gift certificate mailed to you or e-mailed
To let Veggie Brothers know you wish the receive certificates via email you must type in "E-mail" in the Gift Certificate field that you will see during the check out process. This is the same field your recipient will type the certificate code int. This field will appear after the discount code field appears on the check out form.
To let Veggie Brothers know you wish to receive certificates via mail, you must type in "US MAIL". Warning: Veggie Brothers will mail certificate/s via regular paid postage stamp and can not guarantee delivery. If you are giving a last minute gift, we suggest you choose "EMAIL".
If you choose email you may print out on as nice peice of stationary or card stock as you see fit, add whatever artwork or design, if you have that ability, and either leave on a full sheet, blow up, or cut out along the borders. However, most people just forward the PDF or Word Document.
How They Come
-Veggie Brothers will imbed the Coupon code on the certificate before we send it
-If you receive it via email, it will be in either a word doc, or PDF file
-If mailed, it will come in a postcard sized white envelope, with the Gift Certificate inside.
-Veggie Brothers will not imbed an individual's name. That is for you to do if it is mailed to your house. The recipient can fill in the own name or give to someone else, however our website shopping cart doesn't track the name, only the certificate number. Don't make an issue over the name thing.
In general people do not fuss over this. If you give someone a $100 dollar bill, would they be dejected if you don't write their name over Ben Franklin's face?
-We will only mail Gift Certificates to USA States. All Canadians will receive gift certificate via email.
-We will only mail or email Gift Certificates to buyer of Gift Certificates
-You Gift Certificate will be sent to you, using the method of your choice after you have received your receipt from Veggie Brothers confirming your order.
-We typically take 1-3 days to respond to Gift Certificate purchases
-We do not email receipt to recipient even if it is intended for that person. You can forward email containing gift certificate to recipient or print out and mail it, or hand it to them, as most people do.
Gift certificates codes are to be used on time only. If for any reason, the certificate code is abused, or misused, or reused Veggie Brothers reserves the right to charge the monetary balance of the misuse, or cancel the order if found in time.
Using Gift Certificate
-Coupon Codes may not be combined with other discount codes. -
-Only one may be used per purchase. Coupons must be used up in its entirety. No balance will be carried forward.
-The user of the Gift Certificate will only need to enter the coupon code at check out and the system does not call for or care if there is a name imbedded or handwritten on the certificate.
-The Gift Certificate, depending on its size, will pay for the total of whatever food is in the cart in addition to Shipping Charges. (for example, you have a $75 gift certificate, your food total is $65, your shipping charge is $12, total is $77, the credit card will be charges $2)
-You must have a credit card and enter a credit card number when registering as a customer regardless if you have a gift certificate (this is how our system is set up, sorry for any inconvenience)(Gift Cards, like American Express Gift Cards, do not qualify as credit cards on our site)
Using with Discount Codes
-Discount codes may not be used to purchase Gift Certificates.
-The receiver of the Gift Certificate may use a First Time discount code or any other special promotion code the individual may be eligible for or has been given.
-The user of a Gift Certificate may not use it to purchase other Gift Certificates.
